The seminar was offered to students and practicing attorneys seeking a Masters of Law degree. Topics included corporate governance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions as well as an overview of the U.S. legal system and a comparative analysis of the civil and common law.
The seminar was sponsored by the Center for International Legal Studies, Salzburg, Austria, as part of its on-going series of programs intended to foster the rule of law in countries once part of the Soviet bloc. In recent years, Mr. Lester has taught similar programs in law schools located in Kaliningrad, Moscow, Riga, Vilnius and Yerevan.
