Me Glodt brings an extensive knowledge of the Luxembourg public sector and its regulatory environment to DSM and his experience in international relations as well as an unique legal expertise of the shipping sector.

During his 25 years in Government administration he advised ministers from different political borders at the Ministry of Labor and Social affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of the Economy and External Trade. He set up the Luxembourg Maritime Administration in 1991 and acted as head of that department. This included the responsibility of drafting relevant legislation. The Maritime Administration was the first in Luxembourg, and one of the first in Europe to undergo an ISO 9001 certification. This project was selected to represent Luxembourg at the first International Conference on Best Administrative Practices.

He acted as government delegate with respect to several international organizations such as the EU, OCDE, IMO and ILO. He has extensive experience in leading negotiations.

He has served member and Vice-President of the Board of the National Railway Company and a Board Member of the European Maritime Safety Agency in Lisbon.

Marc Glodt studied International Law and European Law at Paris Assas and Paris Sorbonne.

He advises on International and European Law, Public and Administrative Law, Institutional relations and contract negotiation, Business and Commercial Law, legal compliance management. He focusses on the following economic sectors: public sector, including international, national and local administration issues, maritime sector, health and biotechnologies.
