Warshaw Burstein Partner Michael Zukerman is teaching a graduate course, entitled "The Development Process," at the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate.
The course covers the fundamental phases of the real estate development process with respect to retail offices, multifamily, hospitality, industrial and mixed-use properties and ground up development, redevelopment and urban infill. The course includes how to determine the feasibility of such projects, the legal structures of these transactions, and the different stages of development, including pre-development, acquisition, construction, marketing and management.
